Who here has the lowest mileage per years in existence on their cars?
Dodge D100: 130,000km or 80,000 miles over 34 years = 3800km a year or 2300 miles a year.

My 1970 Datsun has 110,000 miles over 49.5 years. So that 2,222 miles per year on average.

I’m at about 195k after 15 years, so I’m not in contention.
But, happy Jeepversary to me. 6 years of bliss....er, constant mechanical problems.

The odometer is broken and shows 36k miles , but my dad owned it for 30+ years before giving it to me. Since it stopped working under his ownership we are pretty confident actual mileage is under 50k. (He never drove it much and I’ve only put maybe a few hundred on it)
This is a 1969 Corvette...so right around 1000 miles per year if not less.

‘86 Porsche with 71,000 miles. Or, 2088 miles per year.
But I should disqualify myself because those are “Porsche miles” which are worth 7 regular car miles each.

My 1994 Pajero has 109,000km. Call it about 67,700 miles for 2,600/year, although that is going up. I’m on track for putting about 5,000-6,000 mile/year on it as my occasional moving big things and weekend adventure mobile.

Bikes are clearly a different category but my 1985 XL600R has a shade under 10,000 miles, or 285 miles per year. I’ve owned it for maybe 3-4 months and put double that average on it.
The ‘06 Warrior has 30,000 miles, or 2143 per year. I probably do double that on average.
‘14 F-150, 101, 000, 16, 833 per year
‘05 Cobalt, 125,000, 8,333 per year.
Clearly no contenders here except the XL in the bike category .

Upholding the Corvette stereotype, amirite?

Yea, unfortunately. I’ve been trying to get it in good running shape so I can at least put some miles on during the summer, but the few years I’ve had it have all been a series of drive it for a short period and break something else and spend the rest of summer fixing it. I have had more pressing projects, so the Corvette always gets put at the end of the list :(

15,000 miles a year on my Cruze is a lot. More per year than I've been driving.

That’s unfortunate, but keep at it. I’m sure it will be wonderful once you finally get it done. My dad had a ‘ 72 convertible when I was a kid, and it was cool. I wish he’d kept it around.

I do plan on keeping it and handing it down to one of my kids. I grew up with it around and always loved it. Someone would need to hand me absurd amounts of money for me to sell it.

Jolene the Sunbird is a 1990 model. Built in June 1990, so likely one of the last ones of that year off the line.
She has 58,600 miles. Divided by 30 years, that’s approximately 1,950 miles a year.

You should totally do a write up on that, the history and story must be cool.

My 1968 Triumph TR250 has 102,000 miles. So 52 years, less than 2000 a year.
My daily driver 2002 IS300 is also at about 102,000, so about 5,666 miles a year.
My mom’s 2006 Saturn Ion has about 30,000 miles, so a little over 2,000 a year.
Collector cars that have been stored, restored, aren’t daily drivers probably shouldn’t count.
My mom’s Ion was bought new, I helped her pick it out. Don’t shame me for that, h as been a good car for her, the proverbial retired school teacher who only drives it to church on Sundays.

Right? She had 56,200 miles when I bought her in August 2018.

I bought my mini cooper a while back.... it was a barn find. Guy who owned it, ended up buying Fiat and drove that. Car had no miles on it. For reasons, I now have mini cooper sitting in “barn” (read garage) and not driving it because C5 is more fun...
2005 cooper with 50k miles on it. Sads.

52k in my S-10. When I first “owned” (hand me down from dad) it in 2016 it had 30k miles. He only drove it home on the weekend and used a work truck.
So I put approximately 22,000 miles in 5 years. Most of it in 2016 going to new orleans to see my mother in the hospital, then to a nursing home 120 mile round trip every other day for a year :’(
With my dads new truck, that I use more often :P, I use my S-10 for small trips to the hardware store and work, which averages 1,200 miles a year. By going off of my oil change record. Needs an oil change and I did it last year... exactly today :P

Bike has 17000 miles and is 22 years old. So under 800 miles a year.
Which... Is insane. I'll be hitting 500 miles by the end of the week.

TR6 is a 1976, just hit 59k the other day. It’s now the oldest and lowest mileage in my fleet having passed my Volvo.
Jag is a 1985 and is at about 105k
SAAB is a 1998 and 137k (over 2k in the first month of ownership!)
MINI is a 2013 at 96k
VOLVO is a 2016, at 58k. It’s done about 18k in the first year of ownership so probably wins.

I don’t know how to calculate it, but our Grand National has about 38 or 39k after 33 years.
